Exam and credential pathway
The exam focuses on fundamental EOMS concepts and principles and the ISO 21001 requirements for an educational organization management system.
After passing the exam, the candidate may apply for the ISO 21001 Foundation certificate-holder designation. The official Foundation pathway lists no professional or project-experience requirement, while application and ethics requirements remain applicable.
Course completion, examination success, certification application and credential issuance are separate stages; the credential is not issued automatically.
